About this care
Beweeg BSO de Vosse is our small-scale after-school care facility located at Vosselaan 152 in Hillegom. We provide care for up to 40 school-age children between 4 and 12 years old. Our pedagogical goal is for children to develop into balanced individuals who recognize and utilize their own talents.
We pick up children from (almost) all primary schools in Hillegom and surrounding areas with our own transportation. After school, children work in small groups on active and creative workshops that connect with their world of experience. This includes sports and games, arts and crafts, and thematic excursions we organize throughout the year.
The strength of De Theepot lies in its small-scale approach and quality. We strive to create a homely and pleasant atmosphere where every child can develop at their own pace. Our team of pedagogical staff provides a safe and familiar environment where children can relax after a school day while simultaneously discovering new things.

Summary
This is a follow-up investigation of after-school care (BSO) De Theepot on Vosselaan in Hillegom, conducted on 18 March 2026 by GGD Hollands Midden. The investigation followed an earlier inspection on 25 August 2025 in which an unsafe situation regarding drowning risk was identified. The municipality of Hillegom issued a formal directive with mandatory actions. This follow-up inspection found that the provider meets all assessed requirements. The measures have been formalized in policy, staff members have been instructed, and the new arrangements are being adhered to. The terrace adjacent to the building has been taken out of use until a sustainable safe solution has been implemented; additional measures for this terrace will be assessed at the annual inspection.
