Summary

BSO Bij Miek in Kampen received an unannounced annual inspection visit on 10 November 2025. All assessed components – pedagogical climate, staff/groups and accommodation – meet the statutory requirements. The pedagogical policy is documented in writing and staff consciously work toward the four basic objectives (emotional security, social competence, values and norms). Children freely choose activities in a calm, relaxed atmosphere. All staff hold a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG); the staff-to-child ratio is in order (21 children, 2 qualified staff members) and no trainees or other non-qualified persons are counted within the ratio. The fixed base group has a maximum of 22 children aged 4-12; each child has a mentor. The location offers 77.3 m² of indoor play space (divided between 'Hooischuur' and 'Kapschuur') and well over the required 81 m² of outdoor play space including a sandpit, climbing equipment, outdoor kitchen and bicycle area. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
