About this care
BSO Lilalola is a small-scale after-school care facility located at Akeleiweg 202 in Groningen. We provide care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location is open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, allowing us to offer both before and after school care.
We pick up children from school after classes and bring them to our facility. For before-school care, you can bring your child(ren) to us before school starts, and we will take them to school. Our care facility is small-scale and has a homely atmosphere, with plenty of space for creativity and activities.
As part of Lilalola Kinderopvang, we stand for individual attention and a warm, involved approach. Our childcare workers always welcome children with a smile and ensure they feel at home quickly. We work in a homely environment where children can play, relax, and discover new things after a day at school.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at after-school care (BSO) Lilalola in Groningen on 26 May 2026. The inspection was prompted by a request to expand from 37 to 77 childcare places. The location meets all assessed legal requirements regarding general quality conditions and accommodation. The application was adjusted from 78 to 77 childcare places following consultation with the municipality and inspector, thereby meeting the requirement of 3.5 m² indoor play space per child. The new group for 7- to 13-year-olds will be located on the first floor. The outdoor play space of 500 m² is sufficient for all children. The GGD gives a positive recommendation for the expansion.
