About this care
BSO De Rekeltjes is located at James Wattstraat 10C in Alkmaar and is part of Forte Kinderopvang. We provide small-scale after-school care where personal attention and a familiar atmosphere are key. Parents rate us an average of 8.2.
Our location has one group with a maximum of 15 children aged 4 to 12. We are open Monday through Friday from the end of the school day until 6:30 PM. The minimum attendance is one day per week, and parents can choose care that includes or excludes school holidays.
We partner with OBS Nicolaas Beets and OBS De Sterrenwachter. Our pedagogical staff pick up the children after school and guide them to our location, where a varied range of activities awaits. These activities are tailored to the age and interests of the children, allowing each child to develop at their own pace.
Parents appreciate our personal approach and the good communication we maintain with them. We believe it is important that parents are involved in their child's care and we keep them actively informed of developments.

- Staff members were registered in the Childcare Persons Register (PRK) but still linked to the previous provider rather than the current provider Stichting Forte Kinderopvang. Personnel had worked before the linkage to the new provider was completed.
Summary
BSO De Rekeltjes in Alkmaar, part of Stichting Forte Kinderopvang, was inspected on 13 January 2025. The location provides after-school care (BSO) for 15 children aged 4 to 13 years. Although the pedagogical climate was assessed positively, with attentive staff and child-focused activities, a violation was identified. The staff members were indeed registered in the Childcare Persons Register (PRK), but still linked to the previous provider rather than the current provider Forte. This administrative deficiency was resolved immediately during the inspection visit. All other assessed conditions, including pedagogical policy, safety, accommodation and parental rights, were deemed satisfactory. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Alkmaar to enforce in accordance with the enforcement policy.
