BSO Buitenburen in Leiden, part of Kindercentrum Kind in Beeld B.V., was inspected on 8 June 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Midden. The after-school care (BSO) with 55 places meets the quality requirements for pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation. Two violations were identified, both with a recovery offer. The safety and health policy has been resolved: children were lighting candles themselves during the table moment, which was not covered in the policy. The parent committee regulations were drawn up, but the parent committee itself had not yet been independently established at location level. Only after the inspection was this resolved administratively by having two parents split from the combined committee.
