BSO de Kindertuin in Helmond, part of Istia Kinderopvang B.V., was inspected on 30 September 2025. The after-school care (buitenschoolse opvang/BSO) follows anthroposophical principles and is located at Vrije School Peelland. The inspection was an unannounced annual review assessing pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health. All assessed inspection items comply with the Childcare Act. The three core groups (Kindertuin, Boomhut, and Aula) accommodate a maximum of 34 children. The pedagogical policy and practice align with the four basic objectives of Riksen-Walraven. All childcare professionals hold the correct diplomas, Certificates of Conduct (Verklaringen Omtrent Gedrag/VOGs), and meet the language requirement. The safety and health policy is complete and up-to-date, including the domestic violence reporting protocol. The licence holder has not submitted a statement of opinion.
