About this care
BSO Vinckhuysen is a completely new after-school care facility in West-Graftdijk, located within OBS Vinckhuysenschool at Kanaaldijk 3. As part of Kindcentrum Vinckhuysen, we provide small-scale care for up to 10 children aged 4 to 12 years.
Our BSO utilizes the beautiful school auditorium, allowing children to play and relax in a familiar and stimulating environment. The location is perfectly integrated with the primary school, making it especially convenient for families with children attending both school and after-school care.
We officially opened on November 15, 2024, and are ready to provide children with a safe and enjoyable place after school hours. Our team of pedagogical staff creates a warm and homely atmosphere where children can develop through play and social interaction.
As a new location, we are continuously developing and steadily building our programs and activities, always with the needs of children and parents as our starting point.Read more

This Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report dated 15 April 2025 concerns a post-registration investigation of after-school care (BSO) Kindcentrum Vinckhuysen in West-Graftdijk, part of Stichting Forte Kinderopvang. The location provides care for a maximum of 10 children aged 4 to 13 years. Initially, shortcomings were identified regarding the pedagogical policy and the safety and health policy. The staff member was unfamiliar with the pedagogical work plan and was not acting in accordance with the safety policy (hand hygiene, cleaning protocols). The first aid certificate was also invalid. Following a recovery offer, all violations were remedied within two weeks. The pedagogical practice was assessed positively: warm interactions and good guidance of children. Other areas such as staffing, accommodation, and parental rights were found compliant from the outset.
