About this care
Welcome to Fris! BSO Het Sterrenbos, a warm and small-scale after-school care centre in the heart of Ede. We provide care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. Our location at Veenderweg 4 is bright, centrally located and has a lovely garden where children can play and explore after school.
With us, it’s all about being outdoors, moving and experiencing adventures together. No screens, computers or television – just enjoying nature, building huts, playing games and doing creative activities. We offer our own drop-off and pick-up service, bringing children to and from school, sports clubs or music lessons. This allows parents to work worry-free while children can continue all their hobbies.
Our pedagogical staff are ready every day with personal attention and a smile. We work according to the Dalton principles: confident, playful, caring, connected and structured. Children have the space to discover, learn and grow at their own pace in a safe and familiar environment. After a long school day, they can relax or be active – whatever they need.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected Fris! BSO Het Sterrenbos in Ede on 17 April 2026. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates 22 children aged 0 to 13 years and is located next to Cavaljé primary school. The annual inspection showed that the location meets all assessed quality requirements: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. All childcare professionals hold the correct qualifications and Certificates of Conduct (VOGs), and the pedagogical and safety policies are well implemented.
