The after-school care for up to 24 children (ages 2-13) at child center De Farmsumerborg complies with legislation and regulations in most areas. The pedagogical climate, staff and groups, accommodation, and parental rights are assessed positively. However, a violation was identified in the area of safety and health: on 22 January 2026, no adult with a valid first aid certificate was present for an afternoon. The location stated that this occurred due to an acute sick leave and that no replacement with a first aid certificate was available. Despite a recovery offer, the violation could not be remedied. The GGD advises the municipality of Eemsdelta to enforce in accordance with the enforcement policy.
