BSO Kloosterveen is the after-school care facility of Kids First located at Aletta Jacobsweg 82 in the Kloosterveen district of Assen. We provide all forms of after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location is a true beach location! We guarantee you and your child a holiday feeling through the decorative interior with fish, shells, fishing nets and boats. Rain or shine, BSO Kloosterveen is the sunniest location in Assen and provides a holiday feeling 12 months a year.
Care takes place in and around the schools OBS Kloosterveen and CJBS De Kloostertuin. There is good cooperation with these schools. The location is within walking distance of MFA Kloosterveste. We offer plenty of space to play outside and there is a pick-up and drop-off service available to and from sports clubs.

GGD Drenthe conducted an unannounced incidental investigation at after-school care (BSO) Assen Kloosterveen of Kids First. The reason was an application to change the number of childcare places from 63 to 58. The location meets the requirements for general conditions, compliance, and pedagogical climate. However, a violation was identified in the accommodation domain: the available suitably arranged indoor play space is insufficient for 58 childcare places. The hallway and two small rooms are not suitable as play space. There is sufficient space for 40 childcare places. The holder objected, but the Municipal Health Service (GGD) maintains its assessment. The outdoor space does meet the requirements.
