About this care
BSO Kids Club Alles Kwetter is a small-scale after-school care facility in Groningen, located in the basement of community center De Schakel at Rijksweg 15. We provide care for a maximum of 25 children from 8 years old. Our location is situated next to the Oosterhoogebrugschool, allowing children to independently walk from school to our group.
At our facility, children have plenty of freedom and can choose their own activities. We have a foosball table, air hockey table, PlayStation and Wii available. Children can also quietly read a book or do crafts. Every Thursday, gym classes are offered which children can participate in.
We provide after-school care on Wednesdays and Fridays at our location. We are known for our caring, dedicated staff and fun range of activities. Parents appreciate that their children are often picked up with big smiles on their faces.

Strengths
- The pedagogical policy is implemented according to plan and provides responsible childcare in line with the four core pedagogical objectives
- All staff members, trainees, volunteers and regular visitors hold a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and are correctly registered in the persons register
- The safety and health policy is complete, up to date and includes concrete risk descriptions and measures
- There is always at least one qualified first aider present during childcare hours

- Insufficient effort obligation for recruiting parents to the parent committee: the call in the newsletter was too passive, parents were not actively approached at the location and intake took place at a different branch

GGD Groningen conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 2 April 2026 at BSO Kids Club Alles Kwetter in Groningen, an after-school care (BSO) for 25 children from age 9. The location generally meets the quality requirements. The pedagogical climate, personnel matters and safety policy are in order. One violation was identified: the effort obligation for recruiting parents to the parent committee was insufficient. The holder followed up on the recovery offer by tightening the newsletter call, actively approaching parents during introductory conversations and making flyers available. After recovery, this requirement is now met. The GGD advises the municipality not to take enforcement measures.
