Summary

After-school care (BSO) De Appelboom at Banneplein in Amsterdam-Noord provides care for up to 17 children aged 4-13 on Mondays and Tuesdays, including during school holidays. The inspection of 27 May 2025 concludes that the location meets the quality requirements: the pedagogical climate is safe and positive, staff are qualified and present in sufficient numbers, safety and health policies are in place and being followed, and parents are well informed. There was one violation: the pedagogical policy plan described staff deployment on non-school days insufficiently. After a recovery offer (new policy plan with concrete services and working hours), this violation has been lifted. The municipality is advised not to impose any measures.
