Summary
GGD Drenthe conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at BSO KC Buinerveen in Nieuw-Buinen on 6 July 2026. The inspection focused on the application to expand from 15 to 21 childcare places. The location is an after-school care (BSO) facility operated by Kinderwereld, situated in temporary premises at Basisschool 75. The inspection assessed the topics of changes, pedagogical policy, stability of care, and accommodation. Quality requirements were met immediately on three of the four topics. Regarding pedagogical policy, the work plan lacked a concrete description of the composition of the new mixed-age group (6 after-school care children and 8 daycare children). The operator resolved this within one day through a recovery offer. The indoor space (51.6 m²) and outdoor space (approximately 114 m²) meet the requirements. The GGD advises the municipality of Borger-Odoorn to grant the amendment in the National Childcare Register.
