About this care
Welcome to Juut & Co BSO Bredevoort, our small-scale after-school care located at Schoolstraat 2A in the heart of Bredevoort. We provide care for up to 24 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our BSO is housed in a cozy building where warmth and homeliness are central. After school, children come together here to play, relax and discover new things.
Our pedagogical staff are ready every day with a listening ear and guide the children in their activities. We work according to our own pedagogical policy in which every child is unique and gets the space to develop in their own way. Children can express themselves in our cupboard full of games, blocks and craft supplies. We also have our own outdoor playground where we enjoy going outside when the weather is nice.
We always start the afternoon together with fruit and a drink. While chatting about the school day, we also discuss what the children want to do that afternoon. No child has to do anything, but everything is allowed - of course within clear boundaries. During holidays we organize special theme weeks and make fun trips. Our BSO is open 52 weeks a year, except for national holidays.
For parents we offer both fixed care blocks and flexible care. We work together with primary schools in the immediate area and pick up the children after school. Our location is easily accessible and parents are always welcome to drop by for a chat about their child's development.Read more

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected Juut & Co BSO Bredevoort on 15 May 2026. The after-school care (BSO) for 23 children (ages 4-12) in Bredevoort partially meets the quality requirements. Shortcomings were found regarding pedagogical policy, the reporting code for domestic violence/child abuse, and safety and health. For the first two points, a recovery offer was made that was successfully completed. The staff member was not familiar with the pedagogical policy plan and the reporting code; this was resolved following agreements and discussions. For safety and health, there are concerns about insufficient supervision during outdoor play (from the group room, not all areas are visible), missing descriptions of measures for heating/ventilation in the storage room and hallway, and the policy is not transparent to parents. The accommodation now complies following earlier problems. Staff and groups are in order, including Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG), qualifications, and coaching.
