Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of IKC 't Oelebröd in Ruinen. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 in a familiar, green environment. Our team of dedicated childcare professionals offers a varied daily program full of creative, sports and nature activities. Children can join music and sports workshops, do crafts, play in our spacious outdoor playground or relax in the reading corner. We work closely with the primary school within our Integral Child Center, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our care includes meals and activities, and we offer flexible care hours from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Together with parents, we ensure that every child feels safe and at home with us.

IKC 't Oelebröd in Ruinen provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 60 children aged 4-12 in two age groups. The annual Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection of 8 July 2025 concludes that the location meets all quality requirements regarding staff, group structure, and accommodation. One violation was identified: the pedagogical policy (pedagogisch beleid) work plan incorrectly described the use of the handicrafts room (HAVA) and the group structure. The location received a recovery offer (herstelaanbod), after which it submitted a revised work plan and visual materials of the HAVA room, which had since been put into use, on 23 October 2025. The violation has thereby been resolved and the location now fully complies with the law. The municipality of De Wolden is advised not to take enforcement action.
