Summary
GGD Haaglanden conducted an unannounced follow-up investigation on 3 March 2026 at after-school care (BSO) Het Woeste Woud in De Lier, at the request of the municipality of Westland. The location, part of De Lange Keizer Kinderopvang De Lier B.V., provides anthroposophical after-school care (buitenschoolse opvang/BSO) for up to 30 children (ages 4-12). The investigation focused on a previously identified violation: a staff member without an appropriate qualification. Unfortunately, this violation remains unresolved. The employee, hired on 2 January 2025, has not yet completed the required subject-specific component of her training, while being deployed as a qualified staff member. The operator indicated that the employee works with conditions in place and that remote supervision is available. The GGD advises enforcement.
