About this care
BSO Het Boshonk is a professional after-school care facility operated by Humankind, located at Ruysdaellaan 26 in Bilthoven. We provide care for children aged 4 to 13 years in a homely and safe environment.
Our location accommodates up to 42 children and is open Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. We organize fun activities for different age groups, including special programs for children aged 6-7 years and for the 8+ group.
The focus is on outdoor activities in nature, sports and games. We provide children with space to relax, play and discover new things after school. Our pedagogical staff ensure a warm and stimulating environment where children feel at home.

Summary
BSO Het Boshonk in Bilthoven, part of Stichting Humankind, was inspected on 15 June 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Utrecht region. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates a maximum of 42 children across two groups (ages 6–12). The annual unannounced inspection found that the location complies with all applicable laws and regulations in all inspected domains: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation. No areas for improvement or violations were identified. Staff are correctly registered in the Childcare Personnel Register, the staff-to-child ratio is in order, and the indoor and outdoor spaces are safe and appropriately furnished. The licence holder submitted a response on 6 July 2026 and confirms agreement with the report. The advice to the Municipal Executive Board is: no enforcement action.
