About this care
Welcome to BSO Hamelen, located at Zevenwoudenlaan 193 in The Hague. We are part of Gro-up Kinderopvang and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. At BSO Hamelen, your child will have a wonderful time. We give them the freedom to choose what they want to do, because after-school care is free time – and it should feel that way.
We work with three groups: two for children aged 4 to 7 and one for children aged 7 to the end of primary school. This age-based grouping ensures that activities are always tailored to your child’s stage of development. Older children often have very different interests than younger ones.
Our location features a lovely courtyard with various play equipment. All groups can walk directly from their room to the outdoor space, giving children a real sense of freedom. Every week, we use a sports hall for toddler gym, allowing children to move and burn off energy.

Summary
BSO Hamelen in 's-Gravenhage, part of gro-up Kinderopvang B.V., was inspected by GGD Haaglanden on 2 June 2026. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates up to 22 children aged 7-12 in the Goudpot base group. The annual inspection showed that the location meets all investigated requirements of the Childcare Act. The pedagogical practice was assessed positively: staff provide emotional security by responding sensitively to children, encourage independence by allowing children to make their own choices, and ensure warm handovers to parents. There were also no shortcomings in the areas of personnel, safety and health, and parental rights. No violations were identified and no improvement measures were imposed.
