About this care
BSO De Planthof is located in De Planthof primary school at Koningin Julianalaan 96 in Nieuwleusen. We provide after-school care for up to 22 children in a classroom specially designed for our BSO group. As part of CKO KleurRijk, we operate from a Christian identity. Our pedagogical staff pass on Christian values and let children experience God's love. We pray together, sing Christian children's songs, read from the Bible and celebrate Christian holidays.
We go outside with the children every day. Our BSO has a large playground with many play opportunities, allowing children to play, meet and develop themselves in a stimulating environment. We work closely with the school: we consciously choose books that match our shared Christian identity and both teachers and our pedagogical staff are trained in Kanjertraining. This way we address children in the same way regarding their behavior.
In addition to our Christian identity, attention and fun are central. We offer a fixed daily program and a varied range of activities. You can choose from 40 weeks, 50 weeks or 10 weeks holiday care. Summary
BSO De Planthof in Nieuwleusen was inspected unannounced on 4 December 2025. The location meets all assessed quality requirements under the Childcare Act: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. The pedagogical policy is documented in writing and implementation is evaluated annually through a TOM measurement and workshops. All staff members hold valid Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG), required qualifications, and meet the IKK language proficiency requirement; coaching is provided on a structural basis. The domestic violence reporting protocol is complete and actively known to the team. Parents are informed through the website, intake process, newsletters, and parent portal; complaints are handled with care and the 2024 complaints annual report was adopted and published in good time. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Dalfsen not to take enforcement measures.
