About this care
Welcome to Klein Alkmaar Heilooërdijk, our after-school care location at Heilooërdijk 136 in Alkmaar. We provide out-of-school care for up to 24 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since August 29, 2022, under number 217232176.
After school, anything is possible with us: going on adventures, hanging out with friends, playing football, doing crafts, baking, playing a game of Stratego, or just having a heart-to-heart. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide the children in their development and help them become self-reliant.
As part of Klein Alkmaar, we stand for involvement, social connection, empathy and flexibility. We make conscious choices for a healthy future and build warm relationships with children, parents and colleagues. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an annual inspection on 1 December 2025 at after-school care (BSO) Klein Alkmaar Heilooërdijk in Alkmaar. The location, part of Stichting Klein Alkmaar, provides care for a maximum of 24 children aged 4 to 13 years in the auditorium of basisschool Fontein. All assessed conditions regarding pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation have been met. The location has an up-to-date pedagogical policy plan and work plan, complies with all ratio requirements, and has sufficient space both indoors and outdoors. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. This is a positive development compared to the annual inspection in October 2024, when shortcomings in the pedagogical policy were found that have since been resolved following a recovery offer.
