About this care
BSO Flevowijk is an after-school care facility run by Iris, Foundation for Christian Childcare, located at Gevers van Endegeeststraat 4 in Kampen. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 on weekdays from 07:00 to 08:30 and from 14:15 to 18:30. Our site uses two classrooms and a shared space within the Willem van Oranje primary school, giving us ample room for up to 33 places divided across three horizontal base groups: Orange, Blue and White.
We follow a pedagogical policy that prioritises safety, independence and child participation. Children can choose activities themselves via the DoenKids database and we regularly organise excursions. Each group has fixed pedagogical staff who act as mentors and closely monitor the children’s well-being. All staff hold the required diplomas and first-aid certificates. For extra safety we operate a back-up system through the Vialer app, so additional support can be on site within 15 minutes.
Parents are actively involved through the Kidsadmin app and the parent committee. We celebrate Christian holidays and take account of special family events. Together we create a familiar, challenging place where children feel safe and at home after school.Read more

Ik heb al eens eerder een negatieve beoordeling gegeven voor deze school maar die is verwijderd. Vertrouw dus niet op het beoordelingscijfers van goog...
