The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 5 December 2025 at Fier Wester, an after-school care facility (BSO+) in Amsterdam-West for up to 10 children with additional support needs. The inspection assessed the pedagogical climate, staff, and accommodation. The after-school care (BSO) has 3 rooms and makes use of nearby public play areas. There are 4 permanent staff members and 2 trainees. All assessed quality requirements are being met. The pedagogical practice is rated as sound: staff provide emotional safety, stimulate social skills, and support personal development. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The operator fully agrees with the findings.
