About this care

Kindcentrum De Eclips B.V. is located at Sara de Bronóvoland 7 in Heerhugowaard and provides after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO consists of three groups: Pluto and Saturnus for children aged 4 to 12, and Jupiter for children aged 7 to 12. We accommodate up to 68 children and use a horizontal group structure, organizing children by age. Our team of pedagogical staff is dedicated to providing a safe and stimulating environment for children after school. We are officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) and comply with all legal requirements for childcare.

Summary

This unannounced follow-up inspection on 11 June 2026 at after-school care (BSO) Eclips B.V. in Heerhugowaard focused on a previous violation regarding the accessibility and furnishing of rooms. At the previous inspection in April 2026, the Bistro and Atelier rooms were not fully accessible to children; the Atelier was being used as a storage space and was locked with a combination lock that childcare professionals did not know the code for. This follow-up inspection found that all rooms are now accessible.
