About this care
Welcome to BSO Don Bosco, located on the same premises as primary school Don Bosco at Gelderingen 60 in Steenwijkerwold. As an after-school care facility we are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Catent and provide care for up to 25 children aged 4 to 13. Our qualified pedagogical staff members Manon, Petra, Linda, Gerda, Krista and Sharon are ready every day to offer children a safe and familiar place after school.
We work with a vertical group structure, where children of different ages play and learn together. The BSO is open on school days from 2:15 PM to 5:30 PM for groups 3-8 and Monday through Thursday for groups 1-2. On Friday afternoons we provide care from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM for groups 1-2. In addition, we offer before-school care (VSO) from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM.
Parents can easily request extra days through the Kidsconnect app. Registrations and questions can also be directed to our pedagogical staff or to director Ineke Hettinga. Our location is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 153466881.Read more
