About this care
Deppenbroek is located within Bonifatius primary school in the Deppenbroek neighborhood of Enschede. Together with the primary school, we form the Integral Child Center (IKC) Deppenbroek, providing a continuous development path for children aged 2 to 12 years.
Our after-school care "Speelwereld" takes place within the familiar environment of the primary school. After school hours, children can join us for after-school care on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. For before-school care and care on Fridays, we collaborate with De Kijkdoos at Bosuilstraat 1 in Enschede.
As part of KOSMO, we provide professional after-school care where children can play, relax and develop in a familiar environment. Our pedagogical staff collect children from their classroom at the end of the school day, after which responsibility is transferred from school to childcare.

BSO Deppenbroek in Enschede, part of KOSMO Zuid-Twente B.V., was inspected by GGD Twente on 12 January 2026. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates 36 children aged 4 to 13. Overall, the location meets all quality requirements. The pedagogical climate is positive, with a relaxed atmosphere and engaged staff. One violation was identified: no parent committee had been established. Following a four-week recovery offer, this was resolved by establishing a combined parent committee with KDV Deppenbroek. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
