Summary

BSO De Vlonder in Uden provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 64 children aged 4-13 years in three base groups. The annual inspection on 11 November 2025 shows that the location meets the quality requirements for pedagogical climate and staff/groups. There is a pleasant atmosphere in which children feel safe and are given room for independence. The pedagogical policy has been worked out in concrete detail and is discussed in team meetings. All staff members hold a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and are registered. One violation was identified: no separate parent committee for the BSO has been established with its own bylaws, as required by the Childcare Act. However, there is a joint child center council with parents and education, in which parents are positive about their opportunities for input. The organization is working on new domestic bylaws in order to comply with both acts.
