About this care
BSO De Vlinder is part of childcare organization De Plu and is located in the monastery of Zijtaart at Pastoor Clercxstraat 52A in Veghel. In this special building, we provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. The location shares the premises with primary school Edithstein, making the transition from school to after-school care comfortable and familiar for children.
Our after-school care focuses entirely on the needs of school-age children. When children arrive from school, a drink and a piece of fruit are ready for them. Afterwards, they can play with friends or participate in activities we organize. We offer both before-school and after-school care, allowing parents to use our services flexibly.
The location in Zijtaart has a homely atmosphere where children feel at home. We believe it is important that children have the space to develop in a safe and familiar environment. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide children in their play and development.

Summary
GGD Hart voor Brabant conducted an annual inspection on 28 April 2026 at BSO De Vlinder in Veghel, an after-school care (BSO) for 50 children (ages 4-13) operated by Stichting Kinderopvang de Plu. The inspection assessed the pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation. All assessed quality requirements have been met. The location has a positive pedagogical working climate, sufficiently qualified staff, correct staff-to-child ratios, stable base groups, and spacious, well-designed indoor and outdoor spaces. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Meierijstad not to take enforcement measures.
