About this care
BSO Rakkers is located at Petristraat 2A in Utrecht, quietly situated directly behind the Mattheus Church in a green, sheltered garden. We provide after-school care for children from group 3 of St. Dominicusschool. It is only a five-minute walk from school to our BSO.
Our location features three bright group spaces with calm colors and a warm atmosphere. There is plenty of room for both active and quiet activities. We have an art corner and a kitchen where we can bake together with the children. In the enclosed garden, there are various play structures, including a tree house, sandbox, swing, and climbing frame.
Within walking distance of BSO Rakkers, there is plenty to discover. Opposite the Mattheus Church is a fun skate park and a playground with a small panna field for football or hockey, swings, and a slide.
A special service we offer is the opportunity to take swimming lessons during BSO time at Den Hommel swimming pool. Our regular group assistant walks the children to the pool and hands them over to the swimming instructor. After the lesson, parents pick up their children there.Read more

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected after-school care (BSO) Rakkers in Utrecht on 8 June 2026. The after-school care (BSO), part of Stichting Kinderopvang Oog in Al, accommodates a maximum of 22 children from group 3. The inspection showed that the location meets all quality requirements under the Childcare Act. One safety attention point was identified: cleaning supplies were accessible in an unlocked utility cabinet. This was addressed immediately during the inspection by placing the supplies up high; the location will also install a slide lock on the door. Furthermore, the pedagogical policy, staff registration, safety policy, first aid (EHBO) provision, reporting code, and parent rights were found to be in order. No complaints were submitted in 2025.
