About this care
BSO De Plantage has been located in the同名 Christian primary school at Zoete Inval 8 in the heart of Veenendaal since 2018. We provide after-school care in a vertical group for children aged 4 to 12. After school, children walk straight into our homely, natural BSO space without needing transport. Inside they can join an activity, play freely, play a game or simply relax. Outside they enjoy the beautiful natural playgrounds around the building. The BSO is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 14:45 to 18:30. During eight of the twelve holiday weeks we are open all day from 08:15 to 18:30. Extra care is also available on study days that fall on our BSO days. We follow the Green Childcare concept, focusing on a warm Christian identity and a continuous line in upbringing. Summary
GGD Utrecht region conducted an annual inspection on 5 March 2026 at after-school care (BSO) De Plantage in Veenendaal, part of Stichting KOALAH. The location provides care for a maximum of 22 children aged 4 to 12 years. All investigated domains – pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights – meet the statutory requirements. The location has a recovery history: at previous inspections in 2023, 2024 and 2025, recovery offers were issued regarding hygiene around the sandbox, the absence of a concrete description for leaving the group, and an insufficiently documented backup supervision arrangement. The current investigation shows that these issues have since been resolved. No new violations or areas for improvement were identified.
