Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced post-registration inspection on 15 April 2026 at after-school care (BSO) De Loper in Maastricht. The after-school care, part of Stichting MIK & Spelenderwijs Kindontwikkeling, is registered for 67 childcare places and together with primary school and daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Loper forms a core childcare center. The inspection assessed the pedagogical climate, staff, and groups. All assessed quality requirements were met. The pedagogical practice showed a positive picture: children felt emotionally safe, pedagogical professionals acted sensitively and responsively, and norms and values were actively conveyed. Legal requirements were also met regarding staff qualifications, child-staff ratio, stability, and language of communication. No areas for improvement or violations were identified. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
