Summary
BSO De Dreef in Emmer-Compascuum, part of Stichting OOE Kinderopvang, was inspected by GGD Drenthe on 23 February 2026. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates a maximum of 24 children aged 4 to 13 years in a unit behind OBS de Dreef primary school. The inspection was an unannounced investigation following registration. All assessed quality requirements were met: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights. The pedagogical practice demonstrates a warm, safe atmosphere in which children move about freely and at ease. Staff communicate clearly and calmly, encourage independence and social skills, and apply clear rules. Staff members hold the correct qualifications and Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG), the staff-child ratio is in order and backup cover is arranged. The accommodation meets requirements with 102 m² of indoor space and sufficient outdoor space. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
