Welcome to De Beun Kinderopvang! At our location on Achterom 64 in Houten, we provide after-school care (NSO) for children aged 4 to 12. Our NSO consists of two horizontal groups at this location: NSO 1 for children aged 4 to 6 (maximum 20 children with two pedagogical staff) and NSO 2 for children aged 6 to 8 (maximum 20 children with two pedagogical staff). This age-based grouping creates calm groups where development can be better monitored and children can build friendships more easily. We pick up children from all schools in Houten with our own minibuses and after-school buses. From age 8, children may also come to the care independently. After school, we offer a safe and homely environment where children can relax, play and discover new things. Our pedagogical staff provide personal attention and guide children in their development. Outdoor play is an important part of our care. Children go outside at least once a day. We regularly make trips to nearby playgrounds, feed ducks or visit the petting zoo. These excursions only take place with parental permission. During holidays, we organize extra outings such as visits to museums, swimming pools or other fun locations. We work according to the Gordon method, where we positively approach children and encourage them to solve problems independently. Our staff follow annual courses based on this method. Our goal is to help children grow into independent, resilient and happy individuals in a familiar environment where they feel at home.
