Summary

BSO De Kangoeroe in Oldenzaal provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 70 children aged 4-12 in four fixed groups. The inspection on 3 April 2025 assessed the pedagogical policy, practice, staff qualifications and occupancy. The pedagogical climate scores well: children experience emotional safety, receive development-focused activities and are guided in social skills. The policy plan is complete and staff are well qualified. One language requirement (IKK level) was not immediately demonstrated; following a recovery offer, the holder submitted the required language certificate before 16 May, after which all requirements were met. No violations or structural improvement points were identified.
