About this care
Welcome to BSO Vinkenrijk, located on the grounds of Primary School De Optimist at Tuinderslaantje 5 in Vinkeveen. We are part of Kind&co ludens, the largest non-profit childcare organisation in the Netherlands. Our after-school care is designed for children aged 4 to 12 who attend De Pijlstaart, Jozefschool or De Schakel.
Our programme centres on discovery, development and growth. We provide care every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:00 to 18:30. During school holidays we are open on all weekdays from 07:30 to 18:30, so parents can rely on us year-round.
The site offers a variety of spaces that we use flexibly. Children can unwind in the quiet chill zone, get creative on our small stage or enjoy active play in our private outdoor area with sandpit. We also make use of the school playground. A fully equipped kitchen in the main hall hosts regular cooking activities.
Our qualified staff collect the children from school and guide them safely to the BSO. We maintain close cooperation with the schools to ensure a smooth handover and to connect with each child’s daily experiences. Together with the children, we make every day special.Read more

Summary
BSO Vinkenrijk in Vinkeveen was inspected unannounced on 17 November 2025. The location provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 33 children aged 4-13 years in two groups. The report shows that Vinkenrijk meets the legal requirements in all examined domains: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. The pedagogical policy is worked out in concrete detail and is applied in practice. All staff are correctly registered in the Childcare Personnel Register (Personenregister Kinderopvang) and hold a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). The safety and health policy is up to date, there is always an adult with a valid first aid certificate present, and children are actively guided in hygiene practices (hand washing). The domestic violence and child abuse reporting protocol is known to the team and is used. Parents are well informed via the website and newsletters, there is an active combined parent committee and an effective complaints procedure. No complaints were submitted about this location in 2024. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The municipal executive (college van B&W) is advised not to take enforcement measures.
