About this care
Welcome to Kids Paleis at Osdorper Ban 138 in Amsterdam! We are an after-school care facility (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12, offering a safe, homely and stimulating environment after school hours. Our mission goes beyond just childcare: we aim to help children grow into their own unique selves and give them the space to discover who they are and what energizes them.
In our dedicated BSO space, children can enjoy a meal together, have a drink and share their daily adventures. Our professional pedagogical staff are always ready to guide and encourage the children to make independent choices. From arts and crafts to cooking, from doing homework to woodworking: every child will find something they enjoy. Outdoor play, sports or simply relaxing are also part of the possibilities.
During school holidays we turn it into a real party with extra fun activities such as excursions, workshops and adventurous trips. Whether indoors or outdoors, we make sure the children make the most of their free time. Kids Paleis always works in close collaboration with parents and schools, ensuring our care aligns with the child’s world of experience.
We provide care after school, during free afternoons, study days and school holidays. Our location at Osdorper Ban 138 is spacious and offers room for up to 50 children. Feel free to drop by and experience the warm atmosphere of Kids Paleis for yourself!Read more

Summary
GGD Amsterdam investigated BSO Kids Paleis in Amsterdam following an application to change the legal structure from sole proprietorship to limited liability company (B.V.). The inspection assessed whether the location could reasonably be expected to meet the quality requirements. Practice was not observed. The location provides care for a maximum of 50 children in two base groups (ages 4–6.5 and 6.5–12). The inspection identified two items that did not immediately comply: the outdoor play protocol and the complaints procedure. Both were revised following a recovery offer and approved. Otherwise, the location meets all requirements regarding staff, accommodation, safety, and pedagogical policy.
