Summary

Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Midden conducted an unannounced annual inspection at BSO Buitengewoon in Leiden on 9 June 2026. The location, part of Stichting Boter Kaas en Overblijf, provides care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12 years at a primary school. All assessed quality requirements have been met: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health. The pedagogical practice shows a relaxed atmosphere in which children are emotionally safe, personal and social competencies are stimulated, and staff actively communicate with the children. There are no new employees since the previous inspection; Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) checks and registrations in the persons register are in order. The safety and health policy is complied with, including procedures for missing children, outings, and strangers picking up children. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The advice to the municipality of Leiden is: no enforcement action.
