About this care
Welcome to BSO Buiten & Zo, located at Weverstraat 33 in Geffen. We provide a challenging and adventurous environment for children aged 6 to 12. Being outdoors is central to our approach: we spend a lot of time outside because it is vital for children's physical and mental well-being. Our activities stimulate children's natural curiosity. They engage in play, technology, and music in the heart of nature, always under professional guidance. Together we explore our surroundings and experience a new adventure every day.
Our location features a large garden and natural play areas where children can run wild, discover, and learn. We use natural and sustainable materials and play equipment connected to nature. Indoors, there is also ample space to rest, warm up, or play a game.
BSO Buiten & Zo partners with local schools and collects children after school. We are open during the forty regular school weeks on all weekdays from the end of the school day until 6:30 PM. During school holidays and on study days, we provide full-day out-of-school care.

Summary
BSO Buiten & Zo in Geffen, part of Kinderopvang Het Beertje, was inspected on 6 July 2026 by GGD Hart voor Brabant. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates 22 children aged 7 to 13 years and focuses on outdoor play. The pedagogical climate meets all requirements: staff act in accordance with policy, provide emotional safety and individual attention. However, a violation was identified in the area of personnel and groups: not all children had an assigned mentor. Following a recovery offer, the provider resolved this by assigning a mentor to all children. One point of attention is that outdoor play materials are not presented invitingly enough, causing children to often play indoors despite good weather. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
