Summary

GGD Hart voor Brabant conducted an unannounced incidental investigation on 11 June 2026 at after-school care (BSO) Tot Vanavond in Sprang-Capelle, commissioned by the municipality of Waalwijk. The investigation took place following an application to expand the number of childcare places from 55 to 66. The location provides care for children aged 4 to 13 years in five base groups, housed in primary school De Rank. Overall, the location meets the quality requirements well. One violation was identified: the pedagogical policy plan did not yet contain a concrete description of the modified base groups following the expansion. The holder made use of the recovery offer and remedied the shortcoming within the set timeframe. The GGD advises the municipality to grant the request for amendment in the LRK.
