About this care
BSO ’t Zonnestraaltje is a small-scale after-school care facility located at Hoefstraat 175 in Tilburg. We provide care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. Our aim is to create a safe and familiar environment where children can be themselves and play with peers. We believe in offering a homely atmosphere where children can relax after a school day. Our pedagogical approach focuses on supporting the broad and healthy development of each child. Summary
BSO 't Zonnestraaltje in Tilburg provides after-school care (BSO) for 22 children aged 4-13 in a fixed base group. The inspection of 27 October 2025 shows that the location meets the quality requirements for pedagogical climate, staff, accommodation and parental rights. The safety and health policy was initially not fully compliant with the law: risks contained insufficiently concrete procedures and parents did not know where to find the policy. Following a recovery offer, the policy was adjusted, deficiencies were resolved and it was made accessible via the parent portal; the location now meets all requirements. There are sufficient qualified staff, first-aid qualification is always present and the spaces meet standards (3.5 m² indoor, 4.5 m² outdoor per child). The pedagogical climate is experienced as safe, involved and stimulating; children feel emotionally safe and staff respond warmly and supportively. The municipality is advised not to apply enforcement.
