BSO St. Jozef

BSO St. Jozef is located inside Kindcentrum St. Jozef at Dijkstraat 6 in Aalten. Since 2022 we have been offering small-scale after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in partnership with Kindernet. Our BSO consists of three fixed groups: two for younger children (4-7 years) and one for older children (8-13 years). The horizontal group structure ensures that activities and guidance are perfectly tailored to each child’s age and development. We operate Monday to Friday from 14:30 to 18:30. During school holidays and study days we are open from 07:00 to 18:30. Our qualified pedagogical staff collect children from Basisschool St. Jozef and other nearby schools. After school the children can unwind, enjoy a healthy snack and take part in the challenging after-school programme DoenKids!, which focuses on sports, games, creativity and relaxation. The location has a capacity of 36 children. The centre is designed with different corners: a construction area, a quiet reading corner, a creative space and a large garden for outdoor play. Safety and familiarity are paramount; parents and children always see familiar faces and are encouraged to contribute ideas to the programme. Parents can also opt for a warm meal and flexible care days.
