About this care
BSO Madeenah is a small-scale after-school care centre located at Hawaiiweg 3 in Almere. We provide care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. Our homely and safe environment is rooted in an Islamic pedagogical vision centred on quality, care and a wonderful atmosphere.
We collect children from various primary schools in the area after classes. At our centre, children can relax, play and develop their talents at the same time. Our varied programme includes Qur’an and Arabic lessons, cooking and baking activities, sports and games, creative projects and regular excursions to educational and fun destinations.
Our pedagogical staff guide the children with warm attention, fostering social skills, respect and togetherness. We operate one vertical group, allowing children of different ages to learn and play together. The spacious garden offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and discovery. During school holidays we organise extra activities and outings, making every day at BSO Madeenah special.

Summary
BSO Madeenah is a small-scale after-school care (BSO) in Almere with an Islamic pedagogical vision. The inspection took place on 23 April 2025. The location generally complies with legal requirements. There were no serious violations. However, the operator must supplement the policy: preschool care (currently 2 children) and allergy management must be documented in writing, as well as the measures to be taken during serious incidents. Practice shows that children are cared for safely, staff hold the correct qualifications and Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG), and parents are well informed. Minor safety deficiencies (threshold, flooring, blind cords, weeds) were resolved following the recovery offer of 10 May 2025. The municipality is advised not to apply enforcement, but to assess the missing policy sections at a subsequent inspection.
