BSO Kindercentrum Baloo

BSO Kindercentrum Baloo is located at Langestraat 65 in the centre of Marum. We provide homely after-school care in a former infant school that we have transformed into a warm place where children aged 4 to 13 feel at home. The site has three living areas: on the ground floor there is a room for the youngest after-school groups, a hall for the middle group and upstairs a separate place for the oldest children. All areas are bright, safe and invitingly furnished. At the back there is a spacious, green outdoor playground where children can romp, play football or just enjoy being outside after school. We work with fixed base groups: Group Red and Green for children aged 4 to 6 and Group Orange for 7- to 13-year-olds. Each group has fixed pedagogical staff who really know the children and offer a familiar face after school. Our pedagogical staff all hold a completed professional qualification in Childcare at MBO level 3 or 4. They regularly attend refresher courses to keep their expertise up to date. We stand for individual development at each child's own pace with respect for everyone. This means that we give children space to relax after a school day, but also challenge them to discover new things. We provide care during school weeks and school holidays, with flexible day parts that fit the schedules of primary schools in Marum and surrounding areas. During holidays, we organise extra activities and outings. All our prices include drinks, snacks and a hot meal, so parents can bring their child without any worries.
