On 5 February 2026, GGD Drenthe conducted an unannounced annual inspection at after-school care (BSO) IKC Anne Frankschool in Meppel. The after-school care (BSO) is located within a primary school and has access to multiple rooms plus the school playground. All assessed quality requirements have been met: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. The pedagogical policy is complete and staff are familiar with it and work according to it. All Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) declarations are valid and have been registered in a timely manner. The safety and health policy is up to date and complete, including first aid provisions. The domestic violence and child abuse reporting protocol meets all requirements. Parents are well informed through the website, newsletters, and parent portal. There is an active parent committee with two members. No complaints were received in 2024. The licence holder did not make use of the opportunity to submit a statement of views.
