About this care
Welcome to BSO De Vlindertoren, located at Moldaviëstraat 2 in Almere Poort. We provide a trusted place for after-school care where children aged 4 to 12 can play, relax, and make their own choices. Our focus is on creating a warm and safe environment where every child feels seen and heard.
Our experienced team of childcare professionals picks up children from various nearby primary schools after classes. We work with small groups, ensuring there is always room for personal attention. Children are free to choose their own activities, such as arts and crafts, outdoor play in our garden, or joining in on sports and creative outings. We regularly organize themed activities and excursions, actively involving the children in planning and executing these events.
At BSO De Vlindertoren, we believe it’s important for children to develop at their own pace. We provide both structure and space for adventure and discovery. There was one shortcoming: an adult with a valid first aid certificate was not always present. Within two weeks, three staff members were re-certified, resolving the issue. No other violations or areas for improvement were identified. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
