Welcome to RIANT Galjoen, our welcoming after-school care facility in the heart of Lelystad. Located at Galjoen 24-24, we work closely with IKC Toermalijn to provide seamless care for children aged 4 to 12. Our location accommodates up to 60 children who feel safe and at home here.
We believe children develop best in a familiar environment with consistent pedagogical staff. Our team is ready every day to provide your child with genuine attention and loving care. After school, children can unwind here, play with friends, and discover their interests.
Our facility is generously equipped with a wide range of play materials that invite exploration and development. We offer a warm place where children feel at home outside school hours. Through our partnership with IKC Toermalijn, we ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care.

Summary
GGD Flevoland conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at BSO RIANT Galjoen in Lelystad on 29 June 2026. The inspection took place following a request to expand the number of childcare places from 60 to 80. The location was not physically visited; the assessment was based on document review and telephone contact with the location manager. The pedagogical policy, safety and health policy, and accommodation were assessed. The GGD concludes that the location meets the legal requirements for expansion. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. Space is sufficient with 328 m² of indoor space (well above the standard of 3.5 m² per child) and adequate outdoor play space via the schoolyard of primary school De Toermalijn.
