About this care
On 15 January 2024 we proudly launched BSO De Morgenster in partnership with Stichting Koalah. Our after-school care is located inside the Evangelische Basisschool De Morgenster at Holendrechtplein 42, Amsterdam-Zuidoost.
Children enter through their own gate onto a spacious green playground featuring a sandbox, slide, play equipment and a Cruijff Court for sports and games. Indoors, two large craft tables invite creativity and our varied programme is tailored to the interests of the children.
We are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:15 until 18:00. During school holidays children are welcome from 8:15 to 18:00. If demand is sufficient we will also open on Wednesdays. On school study days that fall on regular BSO days we offer additional care from 8:15-14:15, invoiced separately.
Registration is free and without obligation via the website or at school with Ms Sherel between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. Places are allocated in order of registration. We look forward to welcoming your child to a safe, sporty and creative environment!Read more

Summary
BSO De Morgenster in Amsterdam was inspected on 20 November 2025. The after-school care (BSO), part of Stichting KOALAH, accommodates a maximum of 24 children aged 4 to 12 years. The location generally meets the quality requirements well, with a positive pedagogical climate in which children feel emotionally safe. One violation was identified: the pedagogical policy plan insufficiently described how parents with concerns about their child's development are referred to appropriate agencies. Following a recovery offer, this has been amended and the violation has been resolved. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality not to impose any measures.
