About this care
BSO De Klaver Carnisse is located inside primary school CBS De Klaver at Klaverstraat 44 in Rotterdam-Carnisse. Since 1 March 2025 we offer a familiar, safe place for children aged 4 to 12 in two bright rooms on the top floor of the school. Our after-school care facility is registered in the National Childcare Register and has a capacity of 22 places.
We provide before-school care (VSO) from 07:00 until school starts and after-school care (NSO) from school-out until 18:30. During school holidays we are open every working day from 07:00 to 18:30. Children stay within the trusted walls of their own school, ensuring continuity and comfort.
Our programme is tailored to the age and interests of the children. During holidays we run BSO Holiday Land: a themed programme packed with challenging activities. Regular afternoons offer plenty of room for relaxation, play and development. We cooperate closely with the school; our pedagogical staff collect the youngest children from their classroom, while older pupils walk to our rooms independently.

Summary
The follow-up inspection on 11 June 2026 at after-school care (BSO) De Klaver Carnisse in Rotterdam shows that the previously identified violation regarding safety and health policy has been resolved. The location, part of KindeRdam Kinderopvang B.V., provides after-school care (buitenschoolse opvang/BSO) to 22 children aged 4 to 13 years at primary school De Klaver. During the annual inspection on 5 February 2026, shortcomings were found: risks were not adequately controlled, cleaning supplies were within reach of children, and safety agreements were not always visibly adhered to. At this follow-up inspection, it was found that measures had been taken: a lockable cabinet for staff members' personal bags, short and well-maintained nails, and secured kitchen cabinets for cleaning supplies. The staff members had discussed the previous report. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises no enforcement action.
