About this care
BSO De Hoge Waai is located on the ground floor of primary school De Hoge Waai, right in the centre of Raamsdonk. We provide after-school care for up to 50 children aged 4 to 13. Our out-of-school care has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 August 2022 under LRK number 195393028, which may entitle parents to childcare allowance.
We operate on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:30 to 18:00. On the same days we also offer before-school care (VSO) from 07:30 to 08:30. Care hours are invoiced monthly; the gross amounts can be partly offset by applying for childcare allowance or municipal allowance. Summary
The annual inspection of 6 January 2026 at after-school care (BSO) De Hoge Waai in Raamsdonk, part of Stichting Kinderopvang De Hoge Waai, presents a mixed picture. The after-school care accommodates up to 50 children (ages 4-13) in two base groups. Parental rights were fully complied with. However, three violations were identified for which a recovery offer was made: incomplete pedagogical policy regarding mentorship, absence of written consent for combining base groups, and insufficient staff knowledge of the duty to report, consult and file a complaint when suspecting crimes by colleagues. The provider adequately resolved all shortcomings within the recovery period (deadline 4 February 2026). The pedagogical practice was assessed positively: warm, responsive interactions, good child wellbeing and stimulating activities. Staff meet all qualification requirements.
