BSO de Heerd

Welcome to BSO de Heerd, part of childcare organization ’t Hummelhuis, located in the heart of Heerde at Griftstraat 8. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a safe, homely and stimulating environment. Our location is part of the multifunctional facility De Heerd, giving us access to broad facilities and close collaboration with nearby primary schools. Our qualified pedagogical staff pick up children from school every day and provide them with a pleasant afternoon. We work with a recognizable daily rhythm that offers both relaxation and challenge. Children choose whether to join organized activities such as crafts, baking, football or free play with friends. We value children's input in shaping our activity program, allowing them to take ownership of their time at BSO. During holidays we organize an extensive activity program at our sister location De Rhijnsberg. Here children from both BSO locations come together to enjoy themed days, excursions and sports activities. We always ensure at least one familiar face from each child's regular group, helping every child feel at home quickly. We offer before-school care from 7:00 to 8:45 AM and after-school care until 6:00 PM. School pickup is included. Food and drinks are provided according to ’t Hummelhuis' nutrition policy, with healthy snacks and plenty of choice. Parents stay connected through the Bitcare app, where they can view photos, schedules and their child's attendance. BSO de Heerd is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 351273207 and accommodates up to 25 children. We warmly invite you for a tour to meet our location and team!
