Summary

GGD Drenthe conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 20 March 2026 at BSO Sleen, an after-school care (BSO) facility operated by Kinderwereld located in primary school de Fontein in Sleen. The location accommodates a maximum of 50 children, divided across two base groups (ages 4–7 and 8+). All assessed areas — pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights — meet the legal requirements. Staff are familiar with the pedagogical policy, the Certificate of Conduct (VOG) checks are in order, and the safety and health policy is complete. However, during the inspection it emerged that a present staff member could not immediately identify who the attention officer is for the reporting, consultation and duty to notify (melden, overleggen en aangifteplicht/MOA). After telephone contact with the policy officer, this could be demonstrated through meeting minutes. At the time of inspection, no complaints annual report had yet been drawn up; the licence holder has committed to completing this before 1 June 2026.
